Café Jam · Effective date: October 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Synverse (“we”, “us”) handles information when you play Café Jam (“the game”, package com.synverse.cafejam) on Android or iOS. The game has no accounts and no login, and we never ask for your name, email address or phone number. Your progress stays on your device.

1. Who is responsible

The data controller for the game is Synverse, the publisher of Café Jam. You can reach us at destek@synversegames.app. For users in Türkiye, Synverse acts as the data controller (veri sorumlusu) under Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK).

2. Information the game processes

a) Data stored only on your device

The game keeps your progress (levels, stars, your café decorations and themes), your in-game wallet (tips and boosters), daily gift and tutorial state, a record of your purchases (product ID and store transaction ID), ad pacing counters and your settings (sound, music, vibration, reduced motion, language) in the app's private storage on your device. None of this is sent to us, and we cannot access it. Vibration is handled locally by your device.

b) Ads (Google AdMob)

The game is free and is funded by ads from Google AdMob. Rewarded ads are always optional: one only plays when you tap to watch it for an in-game reward. From later levels on, the game may also show an occasional full-screen ad between levels; the “No Ads” purchase turns those off. To show, measure and personalize ads and to prevent fraud, AdMob may collect and process your device's advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID / Apple IDFA), other device identifiers, your IP address (from which an approximate location is derived), device and app information, ad interaction data and diagnostic data. On Android the game declares the AD_ID permission so that AdMob can read the advertising ID; you can reset or delete it in your device settings.

c) Consent (Google UMP) and App Tracking Transparency

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the game asks for your consent through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before personalized ads are shown; if you decline, Google may still show non-personalized or limited ads, and the game works the same. Where US state privacy laws apply, UMP also lets you opt out. Your choice is stored on your device, and you can change it at any time under Settings › Privacy options (shown where it is required). On iOS, the advertising identifier is only used if you allow it in Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. Learn more: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.

d) Ad measurement on iOS (Meta)

We promote the game with ads on Instagram and Facebook. To measure how well those ads work, the iOS version of the game includes the Meta (Facebook) SDK from Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. and Meta Platforms, Inc. When you install and open the game, the SDK sends Meta app events such as the install and app launches, together with device information (device model, operating system and app version) and your IP address. Your advertising identifier (IDFA) is only included if you allow tracking in Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt; otherwise Apple's SKAdNetwork and Meta's Aggregated Event Measurement let Meta count installs from ads without identifying you. We only receive aggregated campaign statistics, never data that identifies you. The game doesn't use Facebook login and the Android version doesn't include the Meta SDK. Learn more in Meta's Privacy Policy.

e) Game analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase)

To understand how the game is played and to improve it, we use Google Analytics for Firebase, provided by Google Ireland Ltd. and Google LLC. It shows us, for example, how many people play each day, how long sessions last, which levels are started, won or lost, and which in-app purchases are made. For this the Firebase SDK assigns a random app-instance ID to your installation of the game and sends usage events (first launch, sessions, screens, level start and end with the level number, difficulty and result, and purchases with product, price and currency), device information (device model, operating system, app version, language) and your IP address, from which Google derives an approximate location (country, region, city). We do not set a user ID, we do not use Google signals, and Analytics never collects your advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID / Apple IDFA), your Android ID or your Apple IDFV. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the SDK only stores the app-instance ID if you agree, in the consent form, to information being stored on your device; you can change this at any time under Settings › Privacy options. Google processes this data on our behalf, and we only see aggregated reports. Learn more: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

f) In-app purchases

The game offers optional in-app purchases (for example No Ads, a Starter Pack, tip packs and a hard-level offer). Payments are processed entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store, through Unity In-App Purchasing; we never receive your card or bank details. The game only receives the store's purchase confirmation (product ID, order/transaction ID and purchase date) to deliver what you bought, avoid delivering it twice, and restore “No Ads” later. This record stays on your device.

g) Technical data from the game engine

The game is built with the Unity engine. We do not use Unity Analytics, and the game does not send crash reports. The Unity engine itself may send limited technical information (for example device model, operating system, engine version and an installation identifier) to Unity Technologies, as described in Unity's privacy policy.

h) When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message, and use it only to answer you.

i) What we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email address (unless you write to us), phone number, contacts, photos or files, precise location, camera or microphone data. The game has no chat, no social features, no leaderboards and no cloud save.

3. Why we use it and legal bases

We do not use your data for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information for money. Under some US state laws (for example California), allowing AdMob to show personalized ads, or allowing Meta to use your advertising identifier for ad measurement on iOS, may count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising; you can opt out as described in section 7.

5. International transfers

Google, Apple, Meta and Unity may process data on servers outside your country, including in the United States. These transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, for data from Türkiye, the transfer mechanisms of KVKK Article 9 (for example standard contracts).

6. How long we keep it

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time (GDPR / UK GDPR). Users in Türkiye have the rights listed in KVKK Article 11. California and other US state residents may request to know, delete and correct personal information, and opt out of “sale” or “sharing”; we will not discriminate against you for using these rights.

Because the game keeps your data only on your device and we hold no player database, you control most of it directly (see Delete your data). For any other request, email destek@synversegames.app. We answer within 30 days.

Ads: change your ad consent in the game under Settings › Privacy options (where shown), reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings, or manage ads at My Ad Center. On iOS, you can turn tracking off under Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. This also stops the Meta SDK from linking events to your advertising identifier.

Analytics: in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, you can change your choice under Settings › Privacy options. Analytics data is linked only to a random app-instance ID, not to your name or email, so we cannot look it up from your details; uninstalling the game resets that ID.

You can also complain to your data protection authority (EU/EEA: list of authorities; Türkiye: Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu).

8. Deleting your data

Uninstalling the game, or clearing its storage, removes all data the game stored on your device. We keep no copy. Details: Delete your data.

9. Children

Café Jam is intended for players aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, in line with the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has used the game, contact us at destek@synversegames.app. Where local law sets a higher age for consent to data processing (up to 16 in some EU countries), players below that age should only agree to personalized ads with a parent's permission.

10. Security

Data exchanged with Google, Meta and the app stores is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Data on your device is kept in the app's private storage, protected by your device's operating system. We limit what the game handles so there is little to protect in the first place.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the game changes. We will change the effective date above and, for important changes, let you know in the game or on the store page.
